The Sam Polledri Defibrillator Foundation is an organisation that aims to have lifesaving defibrillators installed in as many public places as possible and to raise awareness of how and when to use the equipment. The foundation was started when 24-year-old Sam Polledri tragically passed away following a cardiac arrest in February 2022. There were no registered defibrillators near Sam. This kind and loving young man who was so full of joy wasn’t given the chance to survive and achieve all he had planned to do.

The Headford Group has donated £2,000 to help the foundation get started by covering the cost of the first defibrillator. ‘In the UK, due to cardiac arrest, 12 fit and healthy young people aged between 14 and 35 die each week.’ If a defibrillator is used within five minutes, survival rates jump from 6% to 74%.

Emil and Giulio are cycling 1,000 miles in 10 days in September 2022. All money raised will go to the Sam Polledri Defibrillator Foundation. The more money raised, the more defibrillators we can install and the more lives that can be saved. Please be part of the change and donate today.
